Akeneo partners with Google Cloud AI to enhance product experience in retail sector

Akeneo, a leading provider of product information management solutions, has announced a strategic partnership with Google Cloud to revolutionize the way retailers and brands manage their product information.

Through this partnership, Akeneo will harness the power of Google’s AI tools to automatically generate multilingual product descriptions and seamlessly integrate images and videos into product information. This collaboration aims to help Akeneo’s retail and brand customers, such as White Stuff, Sass and Belle, and INTERSPORT, achieve greater cost optimization, speed to market, and enhance product experiences for consumers.

The integration of technology from Akeneo’s recent acquisition of Unifai, now part of its Product Cloud, along with Google Cloud’s AI expertise, will establish a new Akeneo AI center of excellence. This center will provide training sessions, webinars, white papers, and case studies to assist manufacturers, brand managers, and retailers in leveraging AI for their product experience strategy.
