Amazon Web Services (AWS) Enhances Generative AI Center of Excellence for Partners

Amazon Web Services (AWS) has announced updates to its Generative AI Center of Excellence (CoE) to provide partners with the latest insights, tools, and resources for leveraging generative AI on AWS. The CoE follows the “working backwards” approach, involving stages such as listening, defining, inventing, refining, and testing and iterating.

The CoE has introduced a simplified engagement experience for partners, organizing content into four deep-dive sections: AWS offerings and best practices, generative AI use cases, third-party generative AI offerings on AWS, and best practices for building generative AI applications on AWS. Additionally, a “What’s New and What’s Trending” section has been added for easy navigation to new resources.

Updated CoE Experience for AWS Partners

Among the new assets available in the CoE are the Amazon Q Asset Pack, updates to the Amazon Bedrock Asset Pack, recordings from re:Invent sessions on generative AI, and new generative AI use case deep dive sessions. Partners can access the CoE’s asset guide in Partner Central for the latest updates.

Customer Market Research and Insights

The Generative AI CoE conducted a customer survey with over 850 respondents to understand customers’ generative AI buying journey and key pain points. Partners are encouraged to leverage the key takeaways from this market research to enhance their generative AI strategies and offerings.

Generative AI Use Cases and Deep Dives

The CoE has developed a generative AI usage heatmap across verticals and horizontal functions based on customer responses and market research. Additionally, five new use case deep dives have been announced, covering telecom, automotive and manufacturing, intelligent document processing, contact center transformation, and applications for financial analysts.

AWS Generative AI Competency

AWS recently launched the AWS Generative AI Competency, a specialization that helps customers adopt generative AI solutions more quickly. Competency Partners provide a range of services, tools, and infrastructure to give customers flexibility and choice across models and technologies.

Share Your Feedback with the CoE

Amazon welcomes feedback on the Generative AI Center of Excellence for AWS Partners to continuously improve the experience and content. Partners are encouraged to share their insights and suggestions through the survey for AWS Partners.
